Saga Shoffner’s career has been spent building brands and nurturing relationships. She has been a leading voice in groundbreaking branding efforts that create a passionate connection between the company and its consumers’ values. At Nike she was responsible for leading breakthrough consumer communications for one of the strongest global brands in recent history while advancing in a variety of advertising and branding positions. This included leading communications for “Just Do It” brand initiatives and leading production of award – winning campaigns. In 2011 Saga took a leap and left Portland, Oregon for Toledo, Ohio to work for Owens-Illinois as VP of Global Communications and Brand Marketing. Saga was a key catalyst in O-I’s evolution from “making glass packaging” to “becoming a global glass brand.” She led the creation of the organization’s first global brand campaign, “Glass Is Life”, which created a global voice for glass and a rallying cry from O-I. In recent years it was time for a new chapter. As a leader and manager Saga was always interested in the strengths of the people. What are they best at?
